Last weekend, a group of six of us, along with our little girl, headed to King Pins Bowling at Manchester Arndale. What a fantastic day it turned out to be! From the get-go, we were surrounded by fun, laughter, and some unforgettable firsts, especially for our daughter who bowled for the very first time.
Walking into King Pins Bowling, we were wowed by how big and lively the place was. It’s seriously huge, with plenty of lanes for everyone, so no one has to wait too long for their turn. The décor is modern and colorful, and the upbeat music adds to the vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re a bowling pro or a complete newbie, you’ll feel right at home here.
One of the best things about King Pins is how easy it is to get to. Located right in the heart of Manchester Arndale, it’s super convenient with lots of bus and tram stops nearby. If you’re driving, there’s plenty of parking space at the Arndale, which makes things even easier. Inside, the venue is really accessible, with ramps and wide walkways for anyone with mobility issues or parents with prams.
Our little girl was buzzing with excitement as we got to our lane. The staff were awesome, giving her lighter bowling balls and setting up bumpers so she could have the best time. Her giggles and cheers every time she knocked down a pin were the highlight of our day. Seeing her so happy and proud made the whole trip extra special.
King Pins isn’t just about bowling though. They also have a mini-golf course that’s a hit with both kids and adults. Our daughter absolutely loved it. The fun, themed holes with bright colors and quirky designs kept her entertained and smiling. It was a great change of pace after bowling, and she had a blast swinging her mini golf club around. Though we did need to make sure nobody was too close with how exciting she was getting!
By lunchtime, we were all pretty hungry, so we headed to the bar area. The menu had a good variety, but we went with the classics: pizza and burgers.
The staff at King Pins were super friendly and helpful, always there to answer any questions and make sure everything went smoothly.
