If you looking for a great family meal out with burger or pizza then head to The Last Crumb in Caversham. I took the kids out today with my cousin and her baby because the kids could eat for FREE and was really impressed.
A friendly and relaxed pub with modern decor and a cool vibe, they have both indoor and outdoor seating so you can choose where you like depending on the weather.
We sat upstairs in the fab garden but the car park has a newly built garden area that’s easy to access.
The burgers and pizza are all homemade and really delicious and got a big thumbs up all round! The Last Crumb is part of a small chain of Dodo pubs and they’ve been perfecting their burgers over the last decade!. They’re cooked American style on a plancha grill until pink (let them know if you’d like it well done), but with a European style patty.
The pizzas are their own take on the Neapolitian, with slow risen dough that’s blast cooked in woodfired ovens.
The adult menu has some great options with woodfired pizza with all options of toppings, chicken wings hot and spicy or just BBQ. I have to say the best is the amazing burgers with some tasty fillings, all the options are covered with beef, chicken and veggie choices and defiantly compliment them with a side of truffle partisan fries.
The last crumb is friendly pub that is perfect for a lunch with the kids even more so at the moment with there summer offer of Two kids eat free with every adult eating. The offer is at lunch times between 12pm-5pm but do check their website before visiting. The kids get a choice of burger or pizza which the pizza are large portions and all of it is the same great quality and taste.
Food isn’t the only thing they do some great cinema events set up in the gardens too.
