Small and quiet!
This Playground is a great stop off if you are wanting somewhere to let the kids play in a small and enclosed play area. We often pop to this play area when on our way home from the shops.
It is at the base of Coombe Hill in Ellesborough (between Risborough and Wendover).
Parking is in the Village Hall car park and there is space for around 15 cars, though people do seem to park here to then go for longer walks too so keep that in mind.
What play equipment is there?
My favourite thing about this play area is the huge slide sunken into hill. This means no treacherous steps for my toddler but a great big slide to explore.
The play area is not in amazing condition though there have been some repairs recently so it is certainly not damaged, just not new and flashy.
There is a nice mix of wood and metal with balance trails, roundabouts and swings. There are several benches and bins too.
Through a little gate is also an outdoor exercise area which is a good addition for the slightly older ones to have a fiddle around with!
If you are after a quieter park for a meet up with a friend and a picnic this would work well. It is not near to any facilities but Wendover is only a few minutes away with all of its shops and market etc.
