A park visited LOTS by @adventuresoftheaandjax so who better to review for Red Kite Days. Elm’s Field Play Park is located on the Elms Field development in Wokingham, it’s mostly all wooden and perfect for all ages.
It’s a large playground with a trampoline, baby and normal swings, a roundabout, rope climbing, a toddler climbing frame with a slide and a bigger climbing frame with a slide.
There is also a see-saw, rocking acorns, rope swings, interactive boards & musical equipment along with insect inspired wood carvings that the kids love climbing on.
You’ll often find an ice cream van stops here throughout the day when the weather is nice.
If you’re like me and enjoy a coffee whilst the children play – there is Brown Bag Coffee Shop just around the corner, or Starbucks is directly opposite the play area.
You could also grab some picnic food from Aldi which is also just a short walk from the play area. This is often what we like to do as there is lots of green space, benches & trees for shade.
Or, if you fancy a cinema trip or soft play before/after a play at the park; you’ve also got Everyman Cinema and Pirates Landing Soft Play opposite on Elms Walk too
You can park in the council car parks around town and walk down (Aldi car park is reserved for customers only and do give fines).
