Explore! Day Taster Workshops at Norden Farm

Discover new worlds with your friends and family with Explore Day on Friday 29 March at Norden Farm in Maidenhead. Choose from over 35 workshops – from screen printing to chocolate lollipop making!

A day packed with workshops for children, families and young people.  There will be drumming, drama, dance, chocolate making, fine art and animation and so much more. A fantastic way to start the Easter holidays in Berkshire.

What will you be trying?

Tickets are £4.50 per workshop or take part in 4 workshops for £16 per person.

Norden Farm Explore Day Workshops

Pre School – Sensory Play

Led by Kayleigh Robinson

 9.15am (30 minute session)

A sensory play session which includes inflatables, lights, colour and movement to sooth and stimulate little minds and bodies.


 Pre School – Movement and Music

Led by Funky Monkeys

 10am (45 minute session)

 An energetic and creative music and movement class for babies and children under 5. This fun and funky session uses lights, puppets, parachute, instruments and music to get your little ones moving!


Circus Skills
Led by And Circus

Street Dance

Get energised and learn some amazing moves with this contemporary dance class with funky tunes.


Music – Ukulele

  • 2.45pm         5 – 7 yearsAn introduction to the ukulele for everyone (even beginners!) Play fun and quirky covers and take part in a big uke jam.

Music – Djembe Drumming

Led by Mandinka Roots

Mandinka’s skilled percussionist brings an authentic djembe drum for every member of the group. You’ll build on basic sequences and traditional songs in a huge drum circle!


Music – DJ Skills

Led by DJ Tons of Sound

DJ Tons of Sound is back this this year with three decks, so everyone gets the chance to try DJing on bespoke mixing desks with expert tuition and some brilliant beats.

Drama – Bringing Stories to Life

Drama – Lights Camera Actions! Intro to TV and Film Making
