This is a fab little playground in Thatcham with free parking at Henwick pports clubs.
The playground has a big climbing frame in the middle that I would say is for older children as it’s quite tall, although my son (2.5 yrs.) had a good go on it! There is a good-sized slide, a zip wire, and a range of swings two with baby seats. There is a basket seat swing also. On the other side there is a swing seat merry-go-round.
The playground is all set on rubber so it is safe if your little one has a fall and doesn’t get muddy in the winter.
There is a big field to run around in right next to the playground that also has a basketball
court. This is brilliant for kicking a ball about, or in the summer having a picnic. Dogs are not allowed in this field so you don’t need to be on the lookout for mess little ones might run through.
George and I often go to this park after having attended the Little Quavers music group that takes place at Henwick hockey club, as you can walk straight through the field.
