Have you tried out the new cafe at the Kingsmere Community Centre in Bicester? It’s currently only open on Fridays but they’re looking to extend that to a Wednesday and Saturday too.
I had a great time at Ready 2 Tumble with my little one last Friday morning and as it was almost lunchtime, my friend and I decided to check out the Kingsmere Community Centre cafe.
Bright and airy, it’s a lovely space with plenty of seating and high chairs for little ones. There’s a little room next to the seating area full of toys and books which kept my little one occupied while I had a look through the menu.
As well as a good selection of cakes, they had a range of options from sandwiches to baked potatoes and a good variety for kids. My tot went for beans on toast which seems to be his staple favourite at the moment and I had a baked potato. Lots of people were also having bacon rolls which were going down a storm.
Pricing is very reasonable with a bacon roll at £2, sandwiches at £2.50 and jacket potatoes with a small side salad at £4.50. All children’s meals are only £2 with anything from a half baked potato to a kids deli board with breadsticks, cheese/ham cubs, olives, vegetables and hummus.
The staff are super friendly and helpful and it’s very relaxed to chill there with kids especially with a good selection of toys on hand.
