Little Leapers Play Cafe & Bakery in Bracknell offer a fantastic mix of stay & play sessions as well as classes and the bonus a cafe making fresh food and baked goods daily.
The little ones were very excited as soon as we stepped into the venue, Noah couldn’t hide his excitement and went running off to explore. He headed straight to the bouncy castle and had lots of fun jumping and playing with the balloons.
The room was set up so that one side there was space for the pre walkers and smaller children to explore with table and chairs so you can sit, relax and have a coffee whilst watching them play. Then around the corner is space for the older children to explore.
Around the outside of the room there is a vet station where they can use pretend equipment to make the animals feel better, a play kitchen and supermarket where there role playing fantasies come true. A favourite of Noah’s was the building construction corner where he had a tool bench and lots of tools he could use.
Isabella loved the soft play area where she could climb, jump into the ball pit and crawl through the caterpillar tunnel. There were also lots of push along toys and prams which they would walk around the room with.
After our play session we were invited into another room for our activity class. In here we did a variety of singing and dancing to the music, then the messy trays came out and we were able to explore with coloured rice, go dipping in the water station to collect flowers, and practise our fine motor skills trying to pick up poms poms. We also had great fun doing paint hand prints and getting very messy. If you have little ones, do check out my guide to baby & toddler groups in Bracknell.
The session ended with more singing and dancing, plus the added addition of the parachute which both little ones loved running under and playing peekaboo.
Open exclusively during the classes and play sessions, the onsite cafe provides homemade fresh food daily. So whether you are looking for a light snack or something for lunch then the cafe has everything that you may need and a wide range of drinks also.
They are located on the 1st floor of Alston House on Market Street, Bracknell. The facility is accessible by both stairs and a lift. I would recommend parking at The Peel Centre where you can enjoy 3 hours of free parking.
