Paulton’s Park (which includes Peppa Pig World) describes itself as the “Number 1 Theme Park for Families” and it fully deserves this accolade. It makes a brilliant day out with kids of all ages and is one of our favourite places to go for a special treat.
Peppa Pig World
Peppa Pig World is part of the wider Paulton’s Park and is included in the ticket price to the whole park. It’s aimed at toddlers and is perfect for Peppa Pig fans. Inside the Peppa Pig zone, there are lots of Peppa-themed rides. My kids enjoyed the tractor rides through Grampa Pig’s garden and rising on George’s dragon. You can also meet and greet giant Peppa characters and run around in the fabulous outdoor playground. If it’s raining, there is an indoor soft play zone. You could spend all day in the Peppa Pig zone – however there are also lots of rides suitable for toddlers in the wider Paulton’s Park and queues can be shorter so it’s definitely worth exploring.
Paulton’s Park Rides
Paulton’s Park is spread over a large area and there are loads of rides for kids (and adults!) of all ages. Although it always looks busy when you arrive in the carpark, everyone spreads out and the queues tend to be manageable. Near closing time there were practically no queues at all. Check out the Paulton’s Park website for details of all the rides. My family’s favourites were the caterpillar roller coaster and the log flume ride (warming – wear raincoats as you get wet!) and the beautiful carousel.
Paulton’s Park Facilities
There are lots of restaurant and snack bars spread out over the site. However there are also plenty of picnic areas and nice gardens so it’s the perfect place to bring a picnic.
Paulton’s Park Costs
Check out the website for latest ticket prices. It’s cheaper to purchase online in advance and you can buy family tickets. Children under 1m go free. Children over 90cm are tall enough to go on lots of rides in the broader Paulton’s Park so it’s great value if you manage to go with a child between 90-100cm!
