Toddler Splash is on every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 09:30am- 12:30pm term time only. These sessions are specifically designed for young families with children under 5 and the session lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.
Based in the Leisure Pool you are able to ride the waves, slide down the slides and splash around as this is a family friendly session. The Leisure Pool has an extensive range of low and high level interactive water features that are designed to provide visual stimulation, aid sensory development and build water confidence through play.
These include:
- Splash Pads
- Water Wheels
- Tipping Buckets
- Fish Squirts
- Slides
- Wave machine
- Shark Shower
Noah loved the wave machine which created a beach-like experience with waves that mimic the ocean and was a big hit with the kids. The wave machine is one of the leisure pool’s highlights.
Depending on your children’s ages there is a slide for every age and ability which also have varying heights and speeds. We will be going back to attempt the starburst one when Noah is a little bigger – this is the fastest slide which apparently makes a big splash at the bottom.
The toddler pool is ideal for children to play and splash around in. This pool is perfect for young children, with a maximum depth of 0.75m. It also has several small water slides and interactive water features like the pirate ship and water gates to entertain kids for hours.
We had lots of fun playing in the pool and enjoying ourselves in the water. The children always love their swimming lessons but this was a welcome change where we all could have fun playing with the water. It’s perfect as everything is in one area and you can safely follow them around to make sure they are safe. You are also able to wear arm bands and swim vests if you need too.
