We love a good toddler group and had a brilliant time recently when we visited Bucklebury Baby and Toddler group in the Memorial Hall in Upper Bucklebury.
The group runs on a Friday between 9:30 and 11am and is led by a team of volunteers. Babies and Toddlers of all age are welcome to the group and they ask for a small contribution of between £1 and £3.50 depending on the age and number of children you are bringing with you (May 2024)

Indoor/Outdoor Flow
We visited on a lovely sunny day and a big plus for this group is the spacious outdoor area that is also available. Outside they were lots of ride on toys plus a sand area with diggers. There was also a water tray set up with flowers, scoops and spray bottles that the children loved chasing each other with!
Range of Toys
We also loved the range of toys that were set out for the little ones to explore. It felt just right, not too many to be overwhelming but enough to keep them entertained throughout the session. Everything was set out so carefully, it looked really inviting for the children. My toddler loved the home corner, cars and car ramp and the Happyland set up.
Lovely Location
Bucklebury is a beautiful village and just behind the hall you will find a great little playpark including a track for bikes and scooters. After the session most people popped into the play park to extend the fun, which is a lovely option to have. Being out in the countryside, you are surrounded by birdsong and there is also a little woodland area to explore.
We really enjoyed our visit to Bucklebury Play Group, we’ll definitely be back!
