Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead always have an amazing line up of theatre and creative workshops and activities in the school holidays.  During the Easter holidays they take this to a whole other level with their Explore Day on 18th April. A day packed with workshops for all ages and they’re just £4.50!

Dantastic’s Pirate Adventure at Kenton Theatre (Henley) 9th April

Dantastic Productions and the hilarious panto comic Dan Whitley return to The Kenton this Easter with a super high energy, interactive, musical, pirate show for kids!


The Farmer & The Clown at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 10th April

A wordless show for all ages, featuring dance, physical comedy and live musicat Norden Farm in Maidenhead. Playing without words, the show is accessible to a wide range of audiences.

How to Catch a Book Witch at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 11th April

An open hearted show exploring the importance of libraries, sharing stories and not judging people. The show features live music, puppetry and storytelling. Created with inclusion and accessibility in mind and including key word signing and integrated captions.


The Amazing Bubble Man at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 12th April

The bubble man, bubble theatre show, bubble performance, giant bubble

Louis explores the breath-taking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep everyone mesmerized. From square bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, bubble volcanoes, tornados and trampolines to people inside bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all ages.


Puss in Boots at Kenton Theatre (Henley) 12th April

Treat your children to the magic of live, professional dance and fire their imaginations with this lovely new show for the whole family!

Shadow Necropolis at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 15th April

A spooky fantasy adventure for the whole family. A touching tale for any child or adult who has ever struggled with the constant worry that they’re not good enough. Featuring award-winning cinematic shadow puppetry from Japan. Hundreds of puppets are projected on a large screen to create a live animated movie.

Olaf Falafel’s Stupidest Super Stupid Show So Far at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 16th April

Winner of the Best Kids’ Show at the 2024 Leicester Comedy Festival.  Join Olaf Falafel (if that is his real name) for an hour of kid’s comedy which will be the stupidest he has ever let trickle from his brain. Expect sausage birds, radioactive bogies and truth-telling cheese. There will definitely be a time-travelling portal to the future, some farts and a live drawalong.

The Museum of Marvellous Things at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 17th April

With giant puppets, songs, interactive storytelling, show stopping costumes, live original music and a chance to make your own special puppet. This is a fun-filled family show celebrating the magic of imagination and the power of creativity.

Explore! Day Taster Workshops at Norden Farm (Maidenhead) 18th April March

Discover new worlds with your friends and family with Explore Day on Friday 18th April at Norden Farm. Choose from over 35 workshops – from screen printing to chocolate lollipop making!

A day packed with workshops for children, families and young people.  There will be drumming, drama, dance, chocolate making, VR, circus skills, digital animation and so much more. What will you be trying? Tickets are £4.50 per workshop or take part in 4 workshops for £16 per person.


Master Builders Club Easter Brick Building Lego workshops

Suitable for children aged 5+ who love LEGO. Just bring your imagination to a Master Builders Club holiday workshop. An immersive brick building experience with 1000’s of LEGO bricks for ‘little brickies aged 5-15’ Parents can drop off or stay and enjoy the session with their child.

Come along to Norden Farm for 45 minutes of  Arts and Crafts. Sessions vary each day with everything from printmaking to 3D papercraft.
